House musiken när den är som bäst är ett måste för de som gillar beatet, sången och massor av olika instrument. Utbudet är stort i dessa dagar. Själv är jag en super njutare av House musik då jag gillar att höra varje takt samt alla små förendringar under låtens gång och mycket mer som .......!
Jag har äran att känna en herre vid namn Sten Hallström mer känd som Stonebridge i musik kretsar. Han har hållt igång house musiken i över 20 år. För de som inte vet så har han lirat Hip Hop ute på klubbar en gång i tiden, men han bestämde sig för att följa sitt hjärta och satsa på house musiken. Började tidigt och fick en stor hit med låten Show Me Love med sångerskan Robin S som han slog igenom med 1993.
Nu känner sig Stonebridge åter redo för att släppa ut ett nytt album som kommer ut i början av 2010. Det ska bli spännande att höra alla spår från albumet.
StoneBridge is now putting the finishing touches to his third artist album The Morning After, which will see the light in spring 2010. The album includes collaborations with talent from New York, London, Barcelona, Warsaw, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Johannesburg with a deliciously diverse selection of songs as a result.
The title track is also the first single and the vocals come from the classic duo DaYeene, who were among the first Stone worked with in his early career. The sound of the single has touches from the last three decades and is destined for big things over Christmas, New Years Eve and beyond with a set of very strong mixes from StoneBridge, Robbie Rivera, Richard Vission and Sgt Slick.

Denna typ av dans musik kom från Chicago någon gång under tidiga 80 tal. Blev stort i Chicago, New York, Jersey, Detroit och Miami innan den kom över till Europa. House musiken är i stort sätt ett beat som maller fram som en ångvält med influenser från Soul, R&B och Funk!
För de som gillar kommersiell musik så var den tidiga Housen som en hjärntvätt! Dessa beats kom ofta från en synthesizer typ Roland SH-101 eller TB-303 där takten låg på mellan 118 och 135bpm.
Namnet House är det många som vet sig veta var det kommer ifrån, men sanningen är inte så lätt. Men det fanns en club med namnet The Warehouse som fanns mellan 1977 och 1982 och där spelade en DJ som fortfarande håller i gång och hans namn är Frankie Knuckles. När de slog igen stället så fanns det en del som sade ska vi gå till The House som var en förkortning av The Wearhouse, som nu hade bytt namn till Music Box. Ungefär så fick Housen sitt namn. House musiken är updelat i Techno, Electro, Progressiv, Tribal, Deep och Minimal.
Mitt bästa besök på en House club var i New York där vi gick ner i typ en källaren där det var svart som f.. och där stod det en DJ som spelade Sweet Pussy Pauline till 2 lampor som lyste mot golvet. Han körde den instrumentala versionen och la in då och då den vokala delen och jag kan säga att jag var i himlen över att fått se och uppleva detta. Självklart så har jag denna skiva i en 12”inch version.
Biography.
StoneBridge is an artist that needs little introduction. If
you’ve danced in a club, the chances are you’ve danced to a StoneBridge
production. His unique brand of sexy house music has ruled dance floors
for 20 years, regularly crashing into the charts across the world. As a
DJ his ability to move a crowd has seen him travel the globe, rocking
parties everywhere from Sydney to San Francisco to Seoul to Sao Paolo.
In October 2004, StoneBridge released a long awaited debut artist album Can’t Get Enough. The album received over whelming international acclaim, selling huge amounts and spawning the massive hit singles Put Em High and Take Me Away.
Both tracks hit the UK Top 10 and to date have been released in 24
countries. With fans around the world desperate for more, in 2007
StoneBridge released his follow up artist album Music Takes Me to similar ecstatic reaction. The singles from the album SOS, You Don’t Know and Close To Heaven have continued the StoneBridge success story, blasting out of radios everywhere and charting highly across the world.
Born in Stockholm, StoneBridge began DJ’ ing in the early eighties,
spinning funk and disco at his own nightclub Fellini. After hearing the
innovative sounds of house music coming from Chicago in the mid 80’s,
StoneBridge immediately knew where his future lay and made an official
switch to house, starting to remix tracks with a crew of other local
DJs under the name SweMix. Their reputation grew and soon StoneBridge began remixing international acts like De La Soul, Titiyo and Rebel MC. However, it was with his remix of Robin S Show Me Love
in 1993, that StoneBridge established himself as a world class remixer
and producer. The record went on to become one of the biggest selling
house records of all time and before long some of the world’s biggest
names in music were looking for the magical StoneBridge touch to remix
their records. The list of artists StoneBridge has remixed reads like a
who’s who of music; artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Robbie Williams, Simple Minds, Will Smith, Texas, Patti Labelle and Debbie Harry.
Most recently it was StoneBridge who was asked to remix Gimme More the comeback single from Britney Spears connecting Britney to the dance floors once again as only he knows how followed by the Grammy nominated remix of Ne Yo - Closer, Usher -Love In This Club and theUK Top 40 #1 Lily Allen- The Fear. Other recentStoneBridge remixes include Pussycat Dolls ft Missy Elliott - Whatcha Think About That, Jennifer Hudson - If This Isn’t Love, Jazmine Sullivan - Dream Big, Paradiso Girls - Patron Tequila, Jonas Brothers - Paranoid and the forthcoming mixes of Mica Paris - The Hardest Thing and Jade Even - Punching Out which are set to rock the clubs in months to come.

StoneBridge continues to release club anthems with his special brand of
peak time house. Alongside his forthcoming third artist album and a
