Vi fortsätter med Fox senaste dämpar nyheter för 2011. Nu är det de sista stötdämparna att gå igenom med sina tekniska ovationer.

Fox DHX Air 5.0 är visst enligt de som använder dessa en mycket lätt stötdämpare som fungerar som en dito med fjäder. Utveckligen har gått framåt då vi pratar om stötdämpare eller gafflar som använder luft i stället för fjäder. Känslan är nästan som en fjäder dämpare tack vare allt arbete från de som sitter och tar fram och de som testar produkterna. Vi är imponerade over denna utveckling. 

Det som Fox har gjort är att få så mycket luft volym som möjligt i dämparen. Visst går det att bygga en stor dämpare med massor av plats för luft men cyklarna är inga byggda för allt för stora dämpare och luftkammrar. För Free Ride åkning så har man Pro Pedal som har 2 lägen. Bottom out justering, luftjustering och returdämpning samt Boost Valve är några justeringar att fila på.

Fox VAN RC är den mest anvädna dämpare som Fox har gjort. Denna dämpare är enkel i sin uppbyggnad men endå inte simpel som många andra dämpare på marknaden. Vad sägs om retur och kompressions dämpning, som sagt denna dämpare är mycket bra till ett vettigt pris. Man har tillfört en större mängd olja för att få den att fungera bra under långa och hårda åk.
